The recent monsoon rains and floods have brought devastation across the country, resulting in the tragic loss of 245 lives from July 1st to August 27th, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). The heavy rains and flash floods have caused widespread destruction, affecting many regions. Punjab has been the hardest hit, with 92 reported fatalities, making it the most affected province. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa followed closely with 74 deaths. Sindh also suffered significant losses, with 47 people losing their lives.
