Ruet-e-Hilal Committee to Meet Today for Zilhajj Moon Sighting

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is scheduled to meet today in Karachi to sight the moon for Zilhajj. Zonal meetings will also take place in provincial capitals and Islamabad, starting 30 minutes before the Maghrib prayer. This is to ensure a coordinated effort in moon sighting across the country. Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, the chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, will lead the meeting. Earlier, on June 3, an official from the Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council made a prediction about the moon sighting for Eid-ul-Azha.
