Schools in Lahore and Multan to Reopen Tomorrow with Safety Measures
Punjab Government has decided to reopen schools in Lahore and Multan tomorrow , November 20, after ensuring safety measures. After a period of closure due to hazardous air quality, students and staff can return to in-person classes. However, government will enforce certain precautions to ensure everyone’s health and safety.
Imran Hamid Sheikh, Director General of Environment Department, issued a notification confirming the reopening of educational institutions. Even though air quality has improved, government will continue taking necessary measures to protect school community from harmful effects of smog.
Here are the key points to note:
School Timings: Schools will open no earlier than 8:45 AM.
