Pakistan Qualifies for ICC T20 World Cup 2026
With the recent conclusion of the T20 World Cup, the ICC has finalized the 12 teams for the next edition of the mega event, which will take place in 2026 in India and Sri Lanka. The upcoming ICC tournament will feature 20 teams, divided into four groups of five sides each.
India and Sri Lanka automatically secured the first two spots as hosts. The Super Eight qualifiers at the 2024 World Cup and the T20I team rankings determined the next 10 spots. Through this process, Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, South Africa, and the West Indies secured their places in the 2026 T20 World Cup. The United States also secured a spot in the tournament.
